UOP Student Art Show

I very much enjoyed the student art show at UOP. It was nice to see Amanda’s work, she seems to have a diverce art ideas. I enjoyed walking through there art studio and gazing at the variety of paintings, phoptographs, and short films as well. As a student looking to transfer to an art school, this tour gave me a chance to see what UOP offered. I was a little saddened about the fact that they got rid of there original dark room, and replaced it with a digital room. I overall enjoyed my visit, and hope to go back again.

Bill Cunningham Review

Bill is the definition of hard core! I never really learned who he was until I saw the movie the other day. I feel like he really captures the meaning of fasion. He snaps photos of men and women in the clothes that they feel the most comfortable and happy in. The style he has when he is working, the fact that he still works with film, makes him even more cool. Also, he rides a bike every where he goes…hard core.

Then and Now Stockton

I found it immensely inspirational, considering the fact that i was born and raised in stockton. My parents were also born and raised in stockton, so coming home and hearing the stories of what stockton was, were immensely interesting. I found that the architect was immensely more attractive then, what i call the box architect, that we see now. When i see the sites that were located in stockton back in the day, i wish that i was born in that time frame. It was maybe the fact that the pictures were in black and white, that made me think that they were more attractive years ago. Besides that fact, I immensely enjoyed myself, and am for sure going to buy the book.
